I have been rather busy lately. There seems to be so many things to do before leaving Singapore. Anyway, I just completed an easy job, surveyor for Singapore Turf Club. Mainly, I was supposed to interview those uncles placing bets on horses. After the short survey, they would get a S$2 bet voucher from me. The uncles were pretty helpful and most were very cooperative maybe because of the incentive. For a moment, while I was handling the voucher over to the uncle, I felt guilty. It seems that I am promoting horse betting for the turf club. Why am I doing so? Isn't gambling bad?
But, one thing for sure I learn after this job experience, 49/50 people who gamble loses. I had given out 50 vouchers but only one uncle came back to me with a nice cold can of root beer.
I really hope I can stop working and have some quality time with Mel. I want to bring her to many places and buy her many stuffs. But all these need $, I got to work harder!
