At around 4pm today, my boss appeared suddenly in the office with a polo tee and jeans, carrying a backpack. It was when people around me started greeting him (邝总好!) , then I recognised this man. He spoke to me in English and somehow, it really warms my heart. Haha. I believe he's a nice guy from the conversation. Tomorrow, I shall see if he really is.
After work, I went downtown again on my "Mini" for my favourite 牛肉面线汤 with a plate of 大娘韭菜水饺. I am somehow addicted to it. This combination can be described using just one word - BRILLIANT! I shall put some pictures up soon just in case ppl are interested to know how they look like. Also, not forgetting the passion fruit red tea which I bought at a stall nearby (opened by a Taiwanese) I had while savouring my dinner.
Next, I went for a shopping spree at the area. If you think Far East Plaza is a nice place to shop. Then 观前街 is the right place for you to visit in Suzhou. It's just like 2 X Far East Plaza with the buildings replaced by shop houses (abit like Chinatown). Though many might think that Shanghai is the best place to shop, actually Suzhou is not that bad either. The streets are safer and they can give you a better price since they do not incur the higher rent experienced in Shanghai. But, the variety might not be enough to some(sometimes, how enough is enough?). More pictures coming up..
