For the past one month or so, I have been deployed to JURONG Shanghai office to work on a PM project in Lhasa, Tibet. This project is pretty cool as I get to participate in the purchasing of construction materials for a five-star hotel - St Regis. I have been working closely with the QS department and also guiding me is Liu. He loves to joke but when it comes to work, he becomes very focused. He is just like a teacher to me as he teaches me not only technical skills required from an engineer and also the soft skills in managing relations with various people, be it client or fellow colleagues.

I guess I should be staying in Shanghai for at least another two weeks before I get to return to my Suzhou office. Everything is gonna be alright with Liu around. He is one nice and caring person, also a good father who will surely call home every night to listen to the voices of his son and wife.
