Chilling out alone in this Starbucks with a hot cup of Americano, I wrote this entry.
I'm 23. This birthday is a little different from the others. I left my hometown. There are no birthday celebrations, no birthday treats, suppers, no presents, no cheers or laughter from my pals. This place is quiet. People seems to be taking this chance to take a break from work. Many have asked me why am I not going anywhere for this long break. Smile..I'm contended that I stayed here. It's the peace and tranquility that I haven't had for years ever since I have been exposed to this competitive world. It give me a chance to slow down my pace and do some self-reflections.
Same as my previous birthdays, birthday greetings are sent over to me via SMS from my close friends. I really appreciate them. Really want to thank you all for remembering my birthday though it's not that hard to forget. It's really the thought that counts. Even for myself sometimes, I tend to forget people's birthday.
Looking back at my life, it has been a blessing to know many. Though we might not have the chance to meet up often but I know our friendship is still as strong as before. Before I end this entry, I did a short recollections of my life till now. This is also specially dedicated to those who have once came into my life. Cheers to everlasting friendship.
The weather is cold out there. I guess when it becomes unbearable, it will be time for me to come back to the sunny island of ours. Till then, I shall meet you all folks.
