Fudan Excursion

Last Saturday our china history and culture teacher bought all of us to some historic places in Shanghai. First, it was the earliest Islamic Mosque in Shanghai.

JinYang, XiangWei, Xueyuan

Tower on the roof-top of the mosque.

It was drizzling then.

1930 -Walking on the old streets of Shanghai reminds me of one of the songs from Jay's first album, Shanghai 1943

Then, we went to 文庙. As the name implies, it's actually Confucius temple. In the olden days, scholars worshiped Confucius in hope of getting good grades to become government officials.

There was this teapot which capture my attention when we visit the teapot collection in the temple.

Perhaps, I should start praying to Confucius too! No.. I guess should be Benjamin Franklin.

The old and the new.
